Lima Beans Curry



INGREDIENTS

  • Lima Beans - 1cup
  • coconut paste - 1/4 cup
  • Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
  • Green chilly paste -1 tsp
  • Garlic paste -1 tsp
  • Ginger paste - 1tsp
  • Curry leaves -5
  • Red chilly powder -1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder -1 tsp
  • Tumeric powder -1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder -1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste


PREPARATION

  • Soak lima beans overnight or for about  6 to 7 hours.
  • Cook lima beans in pressure cooker till soft.
  • Place pan on medium flame, add oil into it.
  • When oil heats up, add cumin seeds and curry leaves.Fry it.
  • Then add cooked lima beans and all the dry masala.Stir well
  • Now add coconut paste and salt.
  • Mix well and bring  it to boil.
  • Lima beans curry is ready to serve.
  • Lima beans can be serve with chapathis or plain rice.
