INGREDIENTS
Whole Masoor (Dry Red Lentil) - 1 cup
Onion chopped - 1/2 cup
Tomato paste -1/4 cup
Green chilly paste -1/2 tsp
Ginger -Garlic paste -1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder -1tsp
Tumeric powder -1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp
Coriander powder -1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
Oil -2 tbsp
Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Soak the whole masoor for about 6 to 7 hours.
Cook the masoor in pressure cooker.
Place the pan on medium flame,add oil into it.
When oil heats up, add cumin seeds and let it fry.
Add chopped onions and fry till it becomes slight brown in colour.
Add green chilly paste ginger -garlic paste and tomato paste
Add all the dry masala and fry it for a minute.
Add cooked masoor, salt and stir well.
Cook for sometime with lid closed.
Masoor Masala is ready to serve.
Masoor Masala can be serve with roti or rice.
